Hi, I'm Liz

I'm a 2012 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology's (Rochester, NY) Biomedical Photographic Communications program. RIT allowed me the latitude to ask the questions "How?", "Why?" - and sometimes "Huh?" - which offered me the freedom to experiment and learn while I imaged bird feathers under a Scanning Electron Microscope, snowflakes in the dead of winter at night under a compound microscope, and traveling overseas to expand my SCUBA certifications and underwater photography skills. I have worked for the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, (Florida Atlantic University, Fort Pierce, FL), Carl Zeiss MicroImaging, Inc. at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute (Woods Hole, MA), and have worked as a latent print photographer. Currently, I live in Northern California where I am surrounded each day by the latest photographic and video capture technologies and also work behind the scenes at the largest SCUBA showroom and learning center in North America.

Recent clients include Sacramento Roller Derby, University of California Davis, and Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op.

In between roller derby and underwater imaging projects especially, I continue to grow my skills in digitally restoring analog photographs and capturing + editing video content.

I am excited to try new imaging subjects and want to hear what you want to do! Please contact me with any inquiries or ideas; I cannot wait to hear from you.
